reflections

while drinking my glass of wine today i manage to figure out something, well at least i think i hv. here goes...

1. being jealous at someone for some ability or natural talent tht the particular person has is a total waste of time and effort. ppl dont get to choose wht natural talent they are borned with so dont get angry. getting angry basically means ur pissed at God so dont be. He gv u more than u cld ever dream off. ppl cant help it if their mouth can move mountains,its just wht God decided to gv them when they were borned. its something we just hv to accept and live wit...
2. sometimes being the good guy is not all tht good. i'm begining to serioulsy believe tht sometimes being the bad guy is better, at least if u screw up u know tht ur the bad one so ur screwup some how seems not tht big of a deal. i've learn tht being the good guy comes wit a price, more often than not it also comes with the label "BORING". so yeah being the good guy is not tht good after all. its more towards overated, u definately wont attract the rite kind of ppl(the kind tht ur interested in), u'll get criticize, definitely get weird looks and the whole nine yards.
3. Don't ever ever expect things/response/gratitude/preferential treatment for something good/nice/sweet tht u do for others. 1stly: the world doesnt work tht way...it works the opposite..the less u expect it the more it will come true....2ndly: the person tht u did the good deed to might be so unpredictable/hv high standard/high expectation on u tht wht ever u do on God's green earth doesnt measure up to their expectation of u.
4. if u put in the effort and know ur stuff well enough then u got nothing to worry abt. this applies to mostly all things in life except matters of the heart. its better to leave matters of the heart to the heart. always listen to it no matter how silly/stupid it may sound
5. accept the fact tht some ppl are just attracted to some other ppl. its not like ur boring (well mayb u are). some ppl just click and hit it off. some ppl dont. some ppl just click and unclick. some click with motives either good or bad. but mostly they just click. there's no governing eqn or stuff like tht. its just a random thingy. no explanation. period.
6. some "friends" are better than other "friends". some wld just use and abuse u. some will stick to u thru thick and thin. some will apppear and dissapear frm time to time. some will stay constant in ur life, others wil not. the whole trick to it is to find those whom will be wit u thru thick and thin and stay with them for as long as possible. GOOD FRIENDS ARE HARD TO COME BY.
